yurifanboy is right, pics are too heavy. I picked up three of them and they are 170, 899 and 218 KB (or as my father says kilograms about kilobytes) Par example, http://test.sapimep.com footer: First I see the grey background, then this yellow forecolor (yuck!!!) then the backgound image A compromise between image quality and image size should be found. When the sites were loading for the first time - it took quite a lot of time for my FireFox(Nightly) to display the page and I saw plain html for 5-10 seconds. i know that sapimep got lot of problems because i'm not the webdesigner of the website. the design was a typo3 theme i had to integrate the theme in getsimple only. but big thank you for your answers : find a compromise beetween image quality and image weight is hard for me ! and i disabled simple cache to 'developper' code the website ..
