Problems with installing Innovation plugin + sitemap generation error

Everything is going well with my new install - I love this CMS - it's ideal for setting up for clients who want to maintain their own sites but have limited knowledge and understanding. Just two glitches so far:

Innovation Theme working well so I installed the additional Innovation Theme Plugin, but it is not showing up in the Plugin Management despite 777-ing everything! Any ideas?

Clicked Generate Sitemap and got this mesage:
Error: Your sitemap could not be generated.
Probably something obvious, but I'm missing it...

PS How on earth did I end up with my email address as the Post Title - must have been dreaming! Is there a way you can edit that out please?

sitemap.xml gets created inside the root of your website. meaning if your website is domain.com, then it will be domain.com/sitemap.xml

So for the sitemap to be automatically created the first time, your root folder needs to be writable. The alternative way to do it would be to create a blank file in the root of your website called sitemap.xml, and CHMOD it to 755, 766 or 777.

As for the innovation plugin not showing up... why did you "install" it? It is already part of the download meaning that you wouldn't have had to install anything for it to be there.
