Hello,
I've just attempted to set up GetSimple and am experiencing the same problems as some other members here. As soon as I finish entering the site name, etc. I get a 500 server error:
"Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, root@localhost and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log."
I read a few of the posts relating to this and have narrowed the problem down to the htaccess file, specifically the Options -Indexes statement, which, when commented out allows the setup to continue. I realise this is an important security measure; does anyone have any ideas why this might be causing problems?
