Blog Plugin Request.
#1
Hello,

I'm converting my site to GetSimple. I've opened the site back in 2007 and has more than 150 articles and pages.

I would like, if someone could, to write a blog plugin that supports:

- Multiple Blogs / Categorys
- Comments (No external system)
- Tags
- Multiple Authors
- Password-Protected Areas
- ...?

I could use wordpress but I prefer not having a database. XML works great!

I've found news manager, but I can't make 2 pages with different posts or different category.

GSC is great, but needs a lot of work and contribution.

Have a nice day!

That sounds like quite a bit of work.
Tags is already included in News Manager. I have a category extension for the News Manager if you would like it.

Are you a developer? Or should I write a guide for you on how to implement it into existing plugin?

I'm not a developer.

It would be better if I could use it using exec-php inside a page.

Thanks.

The category addition consists of adding a couple files into the newsmanager plugin, adding a couple of functions, and conditional statements. I will write instructions later tonight.

Hello,

I've made a blog using "Recent Pages", now I need a commenting plugin.

C'mon developers. That would be useful!

You can have comments in pages with:
- News & Comments plugin (cumbe's link)
- External Comments plugin (in Extend)

I need something simpler and not external commenting.

Another plugin that lets you have comments in pages is Guestbook, also by cumbe. However I'm not sure he's updating it, as News & Comments has the same functionality (plus others). cumbe?

How hard would it be to intregrate something like this as a plugin??
http://www.nibbleblog.com/
RSS, comments, categories, XML based storage, SEF urls
http://demo.nibbleblog.com/post/43/Getsimple_CMS.html
Todo arde si le aplicas la chispa adecuada.

Hi JoeyDown
News & Comments plugin( http://get-simple.info/forum/topic/2545 … s-plugin/ ) is a comments plugins for getsimple.

It is the evolution of guestbook, more complete and configurable from admin.
