Syntax highlighting and formatting in Source View?
#1
Is it possible to enable syntax highlighting and formatting (no forced line breaks and line numbers) in the CKE Editor's Source View?

I see in the Theme Editor it has this function for the PHP/HTML code so can this be enabled for the CKE Editor?

On a separate note, when registering for this forum, in addition to the CAPTCHA, there was a question "What does Blue and Yellow make?" I wasn't sure so had to Google it to get the answer. Surely if an answer can be Googled it defeats the purpose of verifying the person isn't a bot?

Also, this CMS looks very promising. Good work.

GetSimple merely includes a copy of the Ckeditor. It is not made to easily change its configuration. I'd try adapting the editor on its own. To do that just google how to enable syntax highlighting for Ckeditor or use a Ckeditor forum instead of this GetSimple forum.

A quick search for example produced this site: http://www.patrickjwaters.com/blog/2011-...pal-6/3527. No idea if that works but seems to be an approach...

I know this doesn't really solve your problem, but it think you're wrong to be asking in this forum.

My dear friends,

why don't you check our WIKI?

There is a step-by-step-description how to configure syntax-highlighting:

Sometimes I feel sad that I wasted so much time to write manuals etc. and nobody notices it ;=(

please, only one topic in one posting ;=))

well the question was a simple spam preventing question and the answer is GREEN and is part of the forum software plugins. Do you think this question is too easy?
what are your suggestions?

We all search for better ways to defeat spam and are grateful for any hints how to do better
