Template question: How do I make a DIV not appear for a specific page?

For example in the sidebar I don't want a particular <div> to appear at the home page but it does appear in the rest of the other pages. I am using innovation theme.

Duplicate template.php, rename it to f.e page_without_div.php, adjust the html code inside the file, and then just assign the new file to page you want in page options.
