SA GS Admin Toolbar
#51
Yeah thats a known issue, its on my website.

Plugins must add these hooks on the frontend as well as the back end, some plugins do no do this, please notify plugin authors to make this change if they wish to make their plugin compatible, however, many plugins already are compatible. **

** These requirements may be fixed in future versions, I am considering adding caching so that the back end menu will be cached and reused on the front end.

Some plugins wrap their sidemenu calls in a backend if, which is unnecessary and pointless really.

The top of a template is not visible (hidden behind toolbar) when having the syntax highlighter plugin active and go to fullscreen (F11)

Hello shawn_a i made some modifications in sa_toolbar.php and i advise you to do these modifications in future editions.
i add this line:
PHP Code:
if(!defined(GSADMIN)){

define('GSADMIN''admin');

And i change the paths with "admin/" for this GSADMIN."/"

the GSADMIN is a constant can define in gsconfig.php for the path for admin folder.

when you change the constant you will need change folder with same name.

Thanks.

Is the one in Github newer than the one in Extend? If so, maybe you can add a link to the description of the version in extend

Some of the links in the menu don't work properly:

  1. svn
  2. about
  3. Admin -> Plugins -> Download more Plugins

I've added it to this wiki page.

Both these 2 themes have an issue with your plugin (using version 0.1.7):
http://get-simple.info/extend/theme/bootstrap3/736/
http://get-simple.info/extend/theme/boot...theme/587/

On the back end side the toolbar is shown over the title.

Feature request: Unless I'm missing something, there should be an easy menu button to hide the menu in the back end .

Fix for fixed toolbar themes is shown on my website.

Back end is fine for me, and no one had ever had that issue.

Hide the menu on the backend? Why?
I'd rather hide the whole damn tabs ui instead.

This had no config or options as also explained in the docs.

I think I mean the front end. I always get confused between the two.
I mean the website-view when logged in, not the admin-view.

Reasoning to hide the front end toolbar?

Ok I will check that out. I guess there isn't much need for hiding option in the Front end then. I thought it gives a better preview of the site when the toolbar can be hidden temporary.

Thank you so much for this tool, seems to work great out of the box.

I'm using Timbow's "Grill Theme and Template Site" and your toolbar is working great.

I am trying to learn how to use GetSimple after 10 years with WP and Joomla and your toolbar is a makes life a little easier.

Thanks again

Hi, The admin bar is a good idea, except for one major bug that makes it unusable for me on most sites. It conflicts with CKeditor's toolbars. At least after clicking the 'maximize' button to to enlarge CKeditor full screen so I can edit easily. But then the top row of CKeditors buttons are all hidden by the admin bar! Worse, the 'maximize' button itself is hidden, so I can't get out of it, nor even save the page, until I've deactivated the admin bar.
Could you fix this big bug? Thanks.

Hello Shawn,

thank you very much for this useful plugin.
If might be a good idea to change the gravatar link to a https url, cause otherwise, it shows the site as unsecure which was secure before, only because of this.

Cheers.

Hello Shawn,

I just noticed that the plugin "disables" widgets that work with jquery.
I'm using JPList (http://jplist.com/) and a Lightbox on the site i'm working at the moment, both don't work anymore when the Admin Toolbar is there. I just noticed, cause the filters on the page don't work anymore and in addition to a responsive admin theme, that were the only plugins installed today.

The jquery version i'm using is 1.11.3.

Thank you very much in advance.
Kind regards.

hi,
the SA GS Admin Toolbar should set / switch the whole site-content a little down, because the Toolbar-navigation could cover or mask and so disable the sites navigation. Version: 1.1 (GetSimple CMS – Version 3.3.13)
