I like the plugin and use it in my site. Is it possible to change format of date and time from full to short: if today then time only, if yesterday or older then date only? Also it would be nicer to show date and time with the smaller font.

Hi!

Sorry for the late reply, summertime and vacation you know.. Smile

I will make these changes as soon as I get home again, probably in the beginning of next week.

Thank you for your feedback.

This tiny plugin is a nice one .... I looked @ the code and the description is working fine for me too (I uncommented it of course). - so why not making it an option for each feed ?

Adding the filter (% rss_display %) will be quite easy too ....

What lines in the plugin's script can I change to alter the order and appearance of the date and time of the feeds?

Thanks.

Question:
I included this plug-in into my site in the sidebar.
I checked it out on my local host and added news feeds.
Worked great.
Then I uploaded it to the server and nothing.
Meanwhile, the local host version is fine.

All folders are exactly the same.

What could be the problem?

Thanks.

I did a Website Health Check and saw this....
/data/other/blog_rss.xml XML Invalid - Error!

How do I solve this?

Thanks.

Hello, encouraging this post, also report another file:

Since it is "RSS import", I wonder if you can access this with the plugin "Blog" from the program WLW (Windows Live write).
Thank you.

Files blog_rss.xml and blog_categories.xml do not belong to the RSS Import plugin. I think they are created by the GS Blog plugin.

True, I have installed the plugin "RSS Import".
Transfer then this question to another section of the forum or you can stay in this?

Thanks.
So, I understand.
Those xml files are not part of the RSS Import problem.
What could be causing the RSS Import plug in not to work on the server, but to perform fine on the local host?

Thanks.

Hi,

I'm doing some enhancements to kenni's plugin, as shown in the picture. I asked to him for uploading my work as a new version.

In the meanwhile, feel free to give me any feedback about it.

Thanks.
