NinkoBB 1.3RC5 (:o)
#1
NinkoBB 1.3RC5 has been released it supports: Categories, Plugins, Languages, Themes, Admins / Moderators, and more. It's a small forum designed to be a simple addition to your site, and can be used as a standalone forum. Little configuration is needed a few chmod's and setting up the initial database, after that upgrades are painless with our upgrade script.

Very simplistic, I like it... however, I would change the name. If you want a forum software to succeed, you need a good name to begin with. I'm gonna be honest, I would not use the software just because of the name. I deal with a lot of professionals, and if one of my lawyer clients asked what powered the forum and I said "riot forum", I don't know to see their reaction.

That may sound crude and ridiculous, but in order to make software successful, it must have a name that is presentable to all types of people and users. Riot forum does the exact opposite.
Clients always want to be able to change the content of their pages, but they are unwilling to do so.

Have you ever coded in your underwear before?

I actually agree on your viewpoint. I don't know what to name it however. And, I don't want to use the cliche YourNamebb..

^ That makes me feel better. I know your a good coder and I could see the product succeeding because of its simplicity. I think the web has pushed for products that try and do everything. I mean you have bulletin boards that are over 30mbs on the base install... their considered the best?

I'm all for simplistic and you win my vote on that for sure Smile
