Using external image gallery code
#1
I have a couple of sites with blog/news pages. I want a nice simple way of posting a number of pictures into a blog so that they are displayed as a gallery, thumbnailed or rotating whatever and I see a lot of bloggers use an external free service then copy and paste the auto-generated code.

Are they any problems with doing this in GetSimple? Any recommended systems? What's the best way to do this?

Whichever image gallery service you use (picasa, imgur, photobucket, fotopic etc.) you can get a html code of created gallery to embed it on your site.
You just have to paste its code in source view mode when you edit a page in GS, or temporarily turn off wysiwyg editor.

But from the other hand, i18n gallery plugin is way simpler to use, and everything is controlled by yourself.
Addons: blue business theme, Online Visitors, Notepad

or even better make a shortcode for it using the shortcode plugin!
