Very interesting things!

Hi,

I think some of those proposals could be used in GS directly integrated (why not?) or maybe as plugins or even be used for your own development works.

- Plupload v1.0 : http://www.plupload.com/
Allows you to upload files using HTML5 Gears, Silverlight, Flash, BrowserPlus or normal forms, providing some unique features such as upload progress, image resizing and chunked uploads.

- gMap : http://gmap.nurtext.de/ (very useful!)
a lightweight jQuery plugin that helps you embed Google Maps into your website. With only 2 KB in size it is very flexible and highly customizable.

- sexybuttons : http://code.google.com/p/sexybuttons/ (it looks nice!)
Sexy, skinnable HTML/CSS buttons with icons.

- 52framework http://52framework.com/ (surely will test it!)
a CSS framework which aims to provide an easy way to build websites using HTML5 & CSS3 while still supporting all modern browsers (including ie6). It uses HTML5 tags like header, nav, section, article, footer or new input field types like url, email, etc. The framework also has a HTML5 compatible reset stylesheet.

I hope you will enjoy as i really have to!

Bye.

I don't mind seeing new functionality being introduced in plugins, but GetSimple should remain simple.

Buttons, frameworks, and additional utilities are nice. But are they essential to the core functionality? Not really.

Just my two cents of course.
