Wanted to share this with you, if maybe you'll have the same problem I had this week.
Having a HTML5 CSS3 website running on Get Simple 3.1.2.
This week found out Components did not work. After putting a component in a template, the PHP/HTML code after the component TAG wasn't showing up in the source. The components didn't work.
After searching for a solution for a few day's I contacted my hosting provider. It seemed our dev website was running with setting
open_basedir on..
After turning it off the components worked.
