Github .md files
#1
Hello,

A minor thing, perhaps, but the two markdown files with .md filename extension (that have appeared in pre-3.2.0 on Github) are interpreted in the file browsers of Debian-based systems as 'Genesis ROM' files.

I would suggest using either .markdown (if you don't care about FAT filesystems without long filename support) or .mkd. Both of these are recognised as markdown files by Github and fall back to plain text in Linux.

Why would you put markdown files on your server?
These will not be in builds so who cares.

I'll bet that the overwhelming majority of installations have every distributed GS file installed on the server.

This was not apparent. Sorry for the noise.
