Fancy URLs not working with Synology
#1
I have my GetSimple site on a Synology NAS. Fancy URLs worked fine with I had the GS in its own folder (ie domain.com/GetSimple). Now that I moved GS to the root, Fancy URLs do not work, Home works though. I get the standard Synology page not found error page when trying anything other than the index page.

When I disable Fancy URLs the other pages work.

Ideas?

That's because your .htaccess file contains /GetSimple/
Remove it to just have a / and it will work.
Clients always want to be able to change the content of their pages, but they are unwilling to do so.

Have you ever coded in your underwear before?

THANK YOU!!!

I actually had to copy the .htaccess file (and remove the GetSimple part) to the root...linux hides anything leading with a period.
