I18N Gallery conflict with slider

I have installed the I18N Gallery plugin. This works fine as does the image gallery.

However, when an image opens in a lightbox over the slider, the next/previous buttons do not work with the pop-up but do with the slider.

How can this be sorted?

I have the same issue. i18n Gallery refuses to work with Nivo Slider. I don't get the lightbox effect at all. I have tried disabling js and css in i18n gallery settings but nothing works.
