Hi, just came across get-simple cms, seems nice.
I also need to hook a simple forum, so I'm curious to know which forum software are you guys using for this forum itself? (http://get-simple.info/forums/)

mybb, but its not really integrated we just use the header footer plugin

Might be a good integration plugin. Mybb uses git pages for the landing page. That means if you want a similar look you need to use another cms on the homepage.
