Add a forum to getsimple site
#1
Hi there,

I have a very simple getsimple site that I use to published a my own free desktop software.

I would like to let users of my application share feedbacks among them with a forum but unfortunately I am not a php developer. What is the simplest way to add a forum in a prexisting getsimple site ?

Which one is the easiest to install ?

I don't see any contribution from the community but maybe there is a not-getsimple addon forum that could be used in a easy way.

Many thanks,

When I installed it last year the CUsers Message Board ( http://get-simple.info/extend/plugin/cus...board/663/ ) worked and looked really good but I didn't have enough users to test it out properly. You need a lot of users to make a forum work and the standard forum applications all run on databases so obviously not like Get Simple.

Cumbe's guestbook is really good and allows threaded conversations and images if you just want a modest message board

Timbow,

thanks for your suggestion. A modest message board could be enough but I would like to see a live demo of CUsers Message Board. You said that you installed it: is it available online your installation ?

Thanks

I took it down. It was only a test/demo.

It seams multiple users (n00dles101, RobA) have used vanilla forums with GS successfully.
