How to change backgroung title image
#1
Hello there!
I'm new with css, php etc, but decided to try to start a website, so here i am. Thanks to your great templates it's way more fun and easier than i expected, but i still have a problem i cannot solve.

I'm using the Grill theme, and i cannot remove, or well, actually replace the background title image. I've deleted the former background image called "bg-image.jpg" and replace it by my own picture, after ajusting the dimensions and i renamed it "bg-image.png" on the image folder in the theme folder.

I've search on the forum already, Timbow suggested to eddit the CSS which i did on the "templatemo_style.css" file but nothing happen, i still have the former image display on the background title page.

Anyone can help me figuring out where i messed up ?

Thanks! Heart

I cannot change the color of the text neither, i've done the search and replace thing on the templatemo_style.css but it has no effect on the website. Maybe there's something wrong with my templatemo_style.css file ? (or maybe i'm just stupid ahah)

I've succeed to modified the php document so i assume i should succeed to fix it...  Confused

hum, that's a good question...

List of CSS Files i have :

bootstrap.css
flexslider.css
font-awesome.css
post.html
templatemo_misc.css
templatemo_style.css
templatemo-slider.css

I'm working on local now, so i can't check whether it is the reason or not...
Thanks for your help anyway! Smile

templatemo is one of those sites that have free templates.

I also think it's an issue with the browser cache. I'd make sure it is cleaned, or try with a different browser or computer.
