A client ran into this issue recently, after trying several browsers, different machines, I believe it was due to a corruption of the file.
I opened it in Photoshop, saved it out again, and there was no problem. Shouldnt be a permissions problem. Saving as web will give you a smaller file size than a normal save as. Not sure if this help, but it worked for me.

Photoshop introduced the export as main saving method. Now the images are uploading fine. Only one problems persists. When in /admin/ and Files section / Responsive filemanager there is only black thumbnails. No images or thumbs for folders. When in news manager and uploading files from there, it shows thumbnails as it should be.

Hi Thomas,
the "fix" was to export images from photoshop (or whatever software) again. Not save, EXPORT. After that I CAN upload jpg ![]() Hope this helps. ![]()

I tried RMF with php 8. Not working. Does anyone have a fix or update?
