Nice work so far! One thing, i found it distracting that the current menu item is darkened. For me it would be much clearer to see the nav menu in inverse situation.

Looking good.

Have to agree with rogerstreets though, menu just doesn't look right.
Current menu tab looks behind when greyed out....
