QUESTION How to handle db when migrating?

hi

my webhost (dreamhost) has a one-click installer for getsimple. 
during their install, i'm required to select/create a db for getsimple. 

should i select the db that already exists for the original site?
or create a new one?

then what is the database that gets created by the dreamhost one-click installer when i install GS?

no idea, ask dreamhost, maybe they just provide it in case a plugin needs a db, there are none i know of, or maybe their tool automatically does that.
