PROBLEM Menu items in the administration shown in wrong order
#1
Hi,

I am working on quite a big clinic site (215 pages) on version 3.3.13. I started by adding the site structure (all menu items) because the content would come later on. So now i am adding all the content to each page and saw that the menu structure in the administration is not the same as on the frontend. In the frontend it is alright but in the admin section it is wrong. So now it is very hard to find the page that i need to update.

Does anyone have an idea where to look for the error? Debug-Mode did not show any hints.

I am using quite a lot of plugins:
http://get-simple.info/extend/plugin/dynpages/81/
http://get-simple.info/extend/plugin/gsc...eurls/900/
I18N Base
http://get-simple.info/extend/plugin/i18...ields/100/
http://get-simple.info/extend/plugin/i18n-gallery/160/
http://get-simple.info/extend/plugin/i18n/69/
http://get-simple.info/extend/plugin/i18n-search/82/
http://get-simple.info/extend/plugin/mld...etter/310/
http://get-simple.info/extend/plugin/new...dated/541/
http://get-simple.info/extend/plugin/new...ddons/835/
http://get-simple.info/extend/plugin/ts-...lacer/799/
http://get-simple.info/extend/plugin/migrate/966/

I tried to deactivate some plugins that i considered save to deactivate without loosing content (fastreplacer, migrate) but they had nothing to do with my problem.

Some screenshots in the attachement to show the problem.
I opened the pages again and checked if the options are set all right and they where. Opening and saving again did not make a difference.

Any help appreciated!

Thanks!
Niki

you are clearly using i18n plugin for menu structure why not ask there?
This is not a general question

No idea what is in your template, no idea what your menu looks like in menu manager ( edit nav structure )

Hi shawn_a,

thanks for your answer.
I wasn't aware that using this plugin makes it an "non-general" problem - sorry for that (i can't move this thread to the correct sub-forum - shall i repost there or can an admin move it? First post ever...).

I added a screenshot in the previous post from the nav structure shown in the admin and the frontend to point out the problem. As the frontend menu structure is just fine i am pretty sure the template files should not cause the problem so i didn't post that file. I edited the nav structure but it looked all fine. Saving again didn't fix the problem. So all settings seem to be alright. I checked that before posting here. And now i don't know where to look into to fix this.

Thanks!
Niki

Your using i18n plugin it controls your menu structure and page hierarchy

Your templates call the menu, so the problem lies there.
Do you have this problem with i18n disabled ?

find the plugin in extend and click support forum
