installation:neostrada

This is an old revision of the document!

Neostrada restricts the use of file permissions 777, 775 and 757 on files or folders. If files or folders have one of these permissions, they won't work. It's included web-based Cpanel configuration application doesn't automatically correct the permissions on upload.

Some plugins and themes often have these 777 permissions. To make them work correctly, you have to change the permission of all the files and folders (of that plugin) to a 755 or lower.

Most of the files and folders in GS have the recommended permissions:

Files: 644 Folders: 755

(in Cpanel this is written as 0644 and 0755)
