To my further: A very unusual problem - costas100 - 2011-10-19 For some time now I have 2 webpages based on GetSimple: http://www.helcan.com/ and http://www.zk.ellada-mas.com/ They both worked fine until today where to my amazement I discovered that all header link (with the exception of Home in http://www.helcan.com/ produce a 404 error and "The requested URL /ena-gramma/ was not found on this server." http://www.zk.ellada-mas.com/ has no problems at all despite the fact that it has more header links than the first one. I checked also using FTP and all pages of helcan.com are in the right place both under data and backups. Both pages have the same plugins installed with the exception that helcan.com has version 2.5.3 of the Simple Image Gallery while zk.ellada-mas.com has version 2.5.2 of the same gallery. I searched a bit deeper and discovered that a number of .htaccess files had only one line: "Deny from all" I deleted all the .htaccess files that I found with this statement (there was one in a strange location under admin/inc/tmp/tmp.deny.htaccess - which I deleted as well) but nothing happened. If anyone can explain this problem, I will greatly appreciate it. Thank you all Costas PS: I even tried a different browser (just in case it was a case of cache) but nothing happened PS2: To my further amazement I discovered that zk.ellada-mas.com has also the same "Deny from all" .htaccess files _ I did not delete them, since I have no problem with this page. To my further: A very unusual problem - ccagle8 - 2011-10-19 It seems to be a problem with your .htaccess file because this works just fine: http://www.helcan.com/index.php?id=ena-gramma To my further: A very unusual problem - Connie - 2011-10-19 Costas, if this happened from one momen to the other, without any action from your site, I just suggest what I would suggest all the time: contact your hoster's support people and ask them they are responsible for your domains and if you are the only one who has access to your server and you did nothing, there must be somebody else ..... maybe some new hosting policy, who knows? Ask them, good luck! To my further: A very unusual problem - costas100 - 2011-10-19 Thank You Connie, thank you Chris and thank you ccagle8 Over the last half an hour I downloaded a fresh get Simple 3.0 and reinstalled most files in www.helcan.com, making sure to leave untouched those files that include data inserted previously (data, backups and plugins directories). I also replaced all .htaccess files that I removed previously. Somehow, all is fine now. I suspect that in my mornings efforts I may have deleted something important. Once again congratulations to all, Get Simple is always the Best!!
