There are already at least 2 good working blog plugins:

  1. http://get-simple.info/extend/plugin/new...dated/541/
  2. http://get-simple.info/extend/plugin/gs-blog/462/

The news manager updated plugin, works well and is easy to use. The other one I don't know, but I suspect it's a bit more advanced.
