Theme Description:

This is the responsive boilerplate Skeleton by Dave Gamache made ready for GetSimple.

"A Beautiful Boilerplate for Responsive, Mobile-Friendly Development. Skeleton is a small collection of CSS files that can help you rapidly develop sites that look beautiful at any size, be it a 17" laptop screen or an iPhone. "

Demo Site Here

I have added a nav menu and a footer with minimal styling so the theme works straight out of the box, but the intention is that it should be used as a basis for building, editing and restyling.

The Skeleton code is much, much simpler than Bootstrap. there is no jquery and no javascript, just a nice efficient css grid which is easy to use and edit. Ideal for GetSimple, and really good for making existing sites responsive.

V1.1 Removed a margin-top declaration which had caused me grief. All skeleton block elements have bottom spacing for a good reason it turns out. Removed some inline style declarations and put them in the css where they belong. Also gave the template some html5 nomenclature: 'section', 'nav', 'aside' etc.

V1.2 Corrected missing semi-colon in footer

Install Instructions:

It is a normal theme: Unzip, Upload, Activate.

There is an images folder which includes a favicon, my demo image and some apple stuff I don't understand. There are three css files. Best look to the Skeleton Homepage for an overview. There are several good online introductions to using Skeleton including this one: http://designshack.net/articles/css/build-a-responsive-mobile-friendly-web-page-with-skeleton/

Let me know.
