items manager: distinct types & fields & list

Hello,

I'd like to have multiple items types managed in my getsimple site, each of them being associated with different custom fields.

Is there any way to have some fields showing up only for items of a given category?

Is there any way to include a listing of items of a given type INTO the content of a page? The listing is by default replacing the content of the page, and not filtering items per their type.
