When to open the code to committers?
#1
I was thinking that once we get a stable product, I will setup the code on SVN for a select few to have commit rights. I probably only will add two or three committers, but anyone else will be able to freely contribute code to one of us which we can then test & commit if we agree with it.

A few of you on the site have already made quite an impression on me, but right now, all I have to go on are those who help with the bugs that are currently outstanding. If you help with troubleshooting and fixing these problems, chances are good I will add you in some capacity.

So anyway, I will be sole committer to version 1.4 and maybe even 1.5. After that I think I will have a clear idea who is dedicated to this project and who I want to help me take it into the next phase.

Thanks everyone!

An idea: for those that are given comitters status, make a private forum for just them, so they can discuss the changes that they are committing, more-so than just the crappy commit messages.
