How does GetSimple Write post files (xml)

I am wondering how and where GetSimple writes out the files / uploads, because I want to do a chown after these file writes. On my host, if the webserver user is the owner, I cannot manually alter any of these files! I need to access them manually.

Can anyone help me resolve?

You can customize the permissions with chmod in GSCHMOD in gsconfig file.

There are several files that handle uploads depending on how your setup.
check admin/upload and uploadify.
