edit post not possible after 10 minutes

Sorry but you cannot edit your post. The Administrator has set it so that posts can only be edited within 10 minutes of posting.

I don't think this is very handy. At least give an explanation why this is changed, because it didn't work like this before.

The reason is so spammers cant go back and edit their posts with spam after their "karma" is established.

apparently this is not ideal, and will be removed or adjusted.
