well, ZIPArchive is not available in the basic hosting package at strato.de

http://get-simple.info/wiki/installation:modules says:

ZipArchive - This is only needed if you want to take backups of your website.
If you do not have this installed, your backups will try to use the zlib library

ZLIB is installed as phpinfo() shows:

But when running a complete-backup from the backend, no archive is created.

Is zlib still working?
