Hi all,
today I updated my site to the 3.3.19 Community Edition and then looked for the installed plugins. I found the I18N plugin in version 3.3.2 ready to update, and followed the link.
Now I saw that I installed a 3.3.2 version from http://get-simple.info/extend/plugin/i18n/69/ instead of the new CE compatible one from https://github.com/GetSimpleCMS-CE-plugins/plugin-i18n/ - which is annoying and did not happen the first time.
My proposals:
- Tear down this old site. Nobody needs it anymore, since old PHP 7 webspace will not come back. And nobody seems to maintain it - these pages are still without SSL encryption.
- Let the plugins page of the 3.3.19 CE installation link to compatible plugins only for updating.
- Use the existing Github pages of CE edition for discussion of user threads.
- Let Wikipedia know where Getsimple is and which is the latest version. (Spoiler: it is not 3.3.16)
My prophecy is: the Creator will not come back.
