I am not sure where to ask(thread) so I made a new thread for beginners of GS.

What I want to know most is page option of page parent.

Where is my child (page) displayed?

What do you mean where is Displayed it's displayed in your menu underneath the hierarchy

Let me anwser you just as a same begginer.

What is the page?
as i know, a page can be a post(page), also can be a "container(parent) of the menu link".

May be it's complicated.

Just try this.

if you want "home, profile, contact" menus

1. create each pages named by above names, without any content(blank the textarea), and click the 'page options' button, there is a
"Add this page to the menu", checked it and that will ask you to input a name of the menus(just same as your menus). and save. now you can see your site with the menus.

2. now, create a child page.

create a new page, with some tittles, and choose a parent page which is you want. and in put some contents in the text area.
Ok, check your site, click the each menu links, you will get that.

just remmeber that,

A parent page is a "menu link", is a "conteiner".
A child page is a 'content'
