I use get simple for the LXLE.net website.
I recently put together a form/widget that allows developers to monetize access to pages or downloads easily and without much user interaction.
In getsimple I used the dynpages plugin and simply copied the entire captcha.php into a 'new component' and used the dynpages plugin to call the form to the page.

Good for any project, even getsimple cms... averages just under 1 penny per use.
