Hi,
I am new to GetSimple CMS and want to know if I can plug it into my existing site to edit content in news, contacts etc. I will welcome any assistance with this please, it is a schlep to re-publish every-time I change something and I can not allow someone else to login and do changes on the actual site.
Much appreciated.

Welcome here, Steve!
of course you can integrate GS into existing sites.
As of now you have static pages and want to mix these with dynamic pages, generated by GetSimple
so I suggest to install GetSimple, use the i18N-plugin for menues and include your existing static pages like it is described in the chapter "Internal/external Links" at
http://mvlcek.bplaced.net/get-simple/mul...gation:en/
feel free to ask your questions here!
Cheers, Connie

Hi Steve,
if you have not so many static pages, I would suggest to transfer them to GS, by that you will be able to edit all pages anytime and you will have no hassle to mix the menu with static and dynamic pages
I did that with around 5 or 6 pages, it is not so much work to take the source code from a static page and enter that in the editor

Connie you are more than a star, but I love Xsite for various reasons and would not part easily :o)) Change is scary they say but because I am not in the business of building websites for a living, I stick with what I know and only learn a little here and there as functionality requirements change.
This is worth a bottle of good red wine but you are too far from here
