Thanks so much Connie! Is there any way for me to edit/add to the wiki myself or do I need to go through someone like you? I tried to but it said it was read only as I'm not an admin.
The reference of "http://127.0.0.1:4011'" should be "http://127.0.0.1:4001" for the port, and I'm actually not sure that the "Run as Admin" is what helped to solve my problem. What happened is that after I noticed Chrome kept taking the 4001 port part off, I navigated directly to http://127.0.0.1:4001/admin/install.php and was able to install successfully. After that I changed the base URL in the admin dashboard to http://127.0.0.1:4001/foldername/ to ensure that the port was incorporated, and everything's been running fine since.
(Now I'm trying to upload to the live site and having problems with file folder permissions but I'll get that sorted out with my host/in another thread if necessary, lol)
