I use GS with Xampp and windows without a problem.
DOn't be hasty and go just yet 8)
Do you have admin access on your windows machine.
What version of Windows are you using?
With good advise I keep trying !!
On my desktop is windows XP with servicepack 3 and the latest updates, no admin access.
On the laptop Windows 7 with the latest updates and no admin access
On both machines the same problem.
On what filename and path are the Settings saved ?
