Welcome page does not appear

The Welcome (Index) page suddenly disappeared after an edit on my site. I can see all the contents on the backend on edit mode but cannot see on the front end. Will appreciate any help to resolve the issue.

The News Manager plugin replaces the content of the page you have selected as Page to display posts, and you selected index.

You can create another page (e.g. news) and select it.

But if you want to have them assigned to index, it can be done by inserting some php code to your template so that the page content is displayed (before or after the posts).
