404 file not found for pages [solved for not FancyURL]

Think I would do a fresh install.

I went into data/ and deleted the index.xml. Now the originally second page can be set as index and works:

disi pages # ls
blubb.xml  index.xml
disi pages # rm index.xml
disi pages # pwd
/var/www/www1/data/pages

then I created another "blubb" and the same thing happens... 404 Sad
