I installed the theme, set the template for the index-page to "index.php" and the other pages are using the default, template.php

it does not work.

Leonku, please read the my comments to your theme and give us a better version of your theme.

give a detailled description how to use that theme

the menu.php from the subfolder /htb has to be moved to the main menu. Unless that the page will not work. And I doubt that it even after moving that file the theme works correct.

Why did you include the folder /htb ?

you included marketing content in the theme's 2 sidebar-php-files.
This is not acceptable.

If you want to include content in a theme, it has to be done using components and you as theme-author have to describe how to edit and use these components.

It is not acceptable for users who want to use a theme to edit a template-file to get rid of your content.
This relates to all three boxes in the sidebar.

It is no good practice to add a jquery file and not to documentate that. THis will bring a lot of problems when users use photogalleries f.e. and these conflict with "your" jquery

by the way the jquery file that you use, is too old. So when users activate your theme, it is possible that this old version will stop other plugins, because they rely on newer versions

5)
it is no good practice to add a PNGfile as banner image which is 1.2 MB by size.
You should describe in your theme's description that it uses a PNG with rotating images

better practice to get a working rotation header is to use a slider!

Please accept my points, my whish is to have good working templates and not disfunctional themes
