Just read your post...

As totally newbie I didn't mess with the themes , so I will try your advice and - sure - it will work.

Just a remark.

You can edit the css rule from within GS (theme -> edit theme)
Just search for the right line using browser's search field, and delete it.

I can not find a Search field in the support forum. Is it not yet implemented (or should I get new glasses!)

look at the forum's menu bar on top, there's a search button.
