I noticed the reputation system stuff in the user box in threads. It might display helpfulness of a user better than the posting number ranks. Thanks for implementing it, Chris!

Goes to pump up the reputation of some users.

NB I noticed that user Connie does not have the reputation buttons in their user box, what gives?

yeah, tried out a couple new forum plugins last night. i also added a new anti-spam plugin that will hopefully cut down on the spammer registrations too

The reason for that fact lies in my endogene modesty ;=)

I just switched it off as I am not a friend of all this... and in my long life I had the experience that people gave me reputation and then felt unhappy with it when I revealed my real character - I am just a stubborn witty old person ;=)

Great, now I don't actually need to make a new thread for asking a question. I just search for a user with a high "reputation" and pm him/her (sadly you can't see this stat in the user list) I can savely ignore Chris since he has only two reputation marks

btw. can you also have -1 or something?

I added it because i won't always be around 100% of the time (probably as the summer comes along, closer to 50%). Since i wont be around, newbies need to know who to trust around the forums. I think it's obvious to a lot of us who are the "authorities" around here, but newer people wont. which leads me to my next post:
