I am completely new user of GS. I have installed the GS today and everything seems to have gone well with the installation, except that there are no themes when I look in the website health check.
I have installed several themes and transferred them to the Themes folder with FTP. When I go to the tab Themes there is a default theme and a theme called Cardinal, but which one I choose and hit the Activate Theme there will be no theme on my website web site, just text. And the rest of the themes I have uploaded via ftp, I can not choose.
What have I done wrong?
my site url:
http://www.mayaweb.se/
Grateful for some help.

Current theme’s do not load because you’ve got the GetSimple location setting wrong. It now searches for the themes in here:
http://www.mayaweb.se/GetSimple_2.01/theme/. Check your GetSimple settings page to fix the install location.
I can’t tell you why themes are not showing up. It could be a CHMOD problem. Do the themes you installed follow the same file structure as the standard themes? (A folder with the theme name with at least template.php inside?)

Thank you for your quick answer. Is the is the right location
http://www.mayaweb.se in Website Base URL?
I have changed to that now but its not working anyhow.
Where in the structure is the right place for the themes so that they can be found? I have put them both in the root folder and the Themes mapp now just in case.
The themes I have uploaded have a file called template.php inside the folder.
Hope you can help...

That would be the right location yes. But when I look at the source of your website it still uses
http://www.mayaweb.se/GetSimple_2.01/ as the base URL. Can you check whether it actually changed?

Normally all themes will be in subfolders of the theme folder. Like so:
Code:
[root]/
theme/
Cardinal/
images/
style.css
template.php
Default_Simple/
images/
style.css
template.php

The thing is, when I go to
http://www.mayaweb.se/ the base URL is set to
http://www.mayaweb.se/GetSimple_2.01/ and when I go to
http://www.mayaweb.se/GetSimple_2.01/ the base URL is set to
http://www.mayaweb.se/. Did you install GetSimple multiple times? What link do you use to access the admin panel? The way it is now it seems you’ve only changed the base URL for GetSimple in the GetSimple_2.01 folder and not on your main installation.

I got the first email to sign in to this url:
http://www.mayaweb.se/GetSimple_2.01/admin/
How do I change the
http://mayaweb.se in the basic installation?
I only installed GetSimple one time, but I must have done something wrong .. I have not set
http://www.mayaweb.se/GetSimple_2.01/admin/ as basic url, not that I know of.
Can It be fixed, or should I uninstall Getsimple from your computer, delete all files on the domain and delete the account in GetSimple and start over?

If you have installed GetSimple on http//www.mayaweb.se/GetSimple_2.01/ then it’s not weird that it doesn’t work on
http://www.mayaweb.se/. You will have to install it on that domain if you want it to work.
Mail me if you need a hand, I can help you in Swedish too.
