latest stable version download

i'm preparing a small bash script to automagically install a get-simple site.

what i miss is a default location for the latest version

wordpress uses
http://wordpress.org/latest.tar.gz

This is a good idea, although I dont believe we have one at this time.

This is a great idea. I've created http://get-simple.info/latest - we will start pointing all download links to this that way whenever there is a new release, i am forced to change the htaccess file instead of all the links out there that "download"
