Hi,
Originally developed to provide a members area for a website, this plugin provides basic password protection for content on a named page and any child pages. Protection is through HTTP Basic authentication. There is a configuration panel to make it easy to set up.

Please let me know if you find any problems!

There are 3 expected outcomes from the login process:
- If the username/password are incorrect the login box will be shown again.
- If the username/password are correct the content will be shown.
- If the login box is cancelled the content will be replaced by a
warning message.
From your description it appears that the username/password can't be authenticated.

Hi Madvic,
What content was shown on the protected page?
What browser were you using?
Thanks,

I have tested this on Mac with safari and firefox, and PC with IE and safari and tested on the IPad, IPhone and still te same probblem. Not usefull for me!

Have you installed the exec_php plugin ?
If yes, disabled and test.

Hi,
Thanks for this plugin.
I installed it on my server but I can reach the protected page.
I have verified the login/password : that's good.
I'm not using other plugins and I have tested on Firefox and IE.
I'd like to know what could I do : I tried to change login/pass and access file on directory, without effects.
What could we do to update it ?

Few more details : when I clic on my protected page, the popup shows asking login/password. Pressing ok close the popup and open another one. I can't access to my content.
What could I modify to use it ?
Thanks for your help.
