error 404 header
#1
Hi!

Please sorry my English, it's not my native languageSmile

First,I have to thank all the GetSimple developers for such smart and easy CMS.

But I found a little problem,maybe someone can help,please.

I've made a site on GS and uploaded it to my hoster's server instead of old one. So, I have a situation, that all the search engines have many links to the old site pages. In case when the user follows that URLs, he gets 404 error page, and it's OK. But, I wondered, what header Search Engine Crawl gets. And I realized, that it's 200! So, I think, it's bad, because SE never knows if the page is missing and will never change it's index... And I really don't know how to fix it.

I think has already been fixed in the fix right after 2.03 was cut. Can you confirm that making this change will fix the issue? http://code.google.com/p/get-simple-cms/...tail?r=194

Yes, thank you very much! I looked at this line in index.php for about an hour, read all the topics founded on this forum with words "404 error", but I thought it was a great sense to put there 403, not 404 Smile

Thanks a lot again, and good luck!
