Hello,
I use Transmit to upload files to my hosting at OVH. For some time now, I have been unable to transfer files because the tree view fails.
Does this have anything to do with the lines:
# prevent directory listings
Options -Indexes
of the .htaccess file?
OVH does not seem to know of a solution.
Next to the GetSimpleCMS environment I have directories which are managed by myself and are updated via FTP, Transmit since I work 100% on Mac.
Thanks for your help an apologize Google traduction.

Hello Bertrand
No, it seems very unlikely that this would be what was causing the issue.
Apache and htaccess directives will only affect web browsing.
Apache directives themselves would have no baring on uploads and downloads from FTP.
There must be something else that is wrong I would suggest trying a different FTP Client to test it with,
Because I myself do not use iOS/Mac I cannot suggest to you an alternative,
though if you have an Android device laying around I would suggest trying AndFTP to see if this works.
alternatively if you are an iPhone user also, you could try the following free app, FTPManager - FTP, SFTP client
by testing with another form of FTP Client, we can see if this issue is a common problem across all devices/program or limited to Transmit.

Thank you for your interest in this issue.
I tried three other transfer programs without success (CyberDuck, FileZilla, Onee Commander and Transmit).
The OVH speakers maintain that there is no problem but I still cannot transfer files other than with Net2FTP, a WEB server which works very difficult and whose limits do not allow files to be transferred of more than 9.8 MB.
I think I will look for another host for my site and my files.
