Hi!
I saw the photos and immediately I noticed a (missing) feature which in my experience is necessary for artists:
a section with press photos and press texts to download
so there could be thumbnails + text, describing the content of the photo., the photo dimension, the resolution etc. and a click opens the press-photo for downloading
I just did a lot of musicians websites and that was always a good feature for them;=)
the photogallery with the lightbox + the thumbs in the lightbox is a little bit too much for me old lady...
Cheers, Connie

Hi Connie,
thanks for looking at the site;
your ideas about about presenting the press materials are cool;
i'm doing a site now for a famous cellist and we created a downloadable press kit which includes the photos and bios which press can download with 1 click; i struggles with how to present those downloadable materials and in the end, the idea of having a 1-click download icon for press seemed to be the best fit since it is so simple...and easy for the artist to explain how to get the files....

marc

marc,
I have one more suggestion:
please title the photos with relevant filenames
there is no sense that journalists download files and don't find them anymore in their temp-folders as the files are named like DCIM123.jpg or have other camera-automatically-generated-filenames
I remember quite well how often photodownloads did not work because of that and journalists will never try twice ...
Cheers, and greetings to the famous cellist,
I love them!

Hi Connie,
thanks again for looking at this, i really appreciate it...!
anyway, this is sort of a low budget job, so i'm leaving it up to the client to deal with all of the photo descriptions once he gets time...
the new site should be live soon, so i'll post the link.
Regards,
Marc
