Basic contact form problem

I tried to install this one but I don't understand what he is referring to in step 2 - 4.

Where should I "create the form"? in "Page" where I put the php code in the WYSIWYG editor? Eeven if I swtich to "source code" mode, the editor automatically change the PHP code into the displayable HTML coding.

Also, what the example is for? for "creating the form"? But again, where to create it?

You can either add it as a component in Theme > Edit components; or
in Theme > Edit theme > Your contact form page's template
