admin details

Hi i guys i hope u can help, but i do have a feeling its goin to be a no go.......

anyway..

a colleage of mine has a site which uses ur product cms, now he did not create this site but a friend of his did and registered the admin details as his own, now the site needs editing etc and i have been asked to do it as the owner can no longer contact his friend that done it first time to get the login details, i am having problems getting into the admin managerment part of cms.....

cut the story sort, how can i reset the admin email and password without reinstalling the whole thing plz??
